In a change to our usual format, at last week’s assembly we started off with a relaxing meditation and stretch session.  In addition we had some soothing guided breathing exercises -we found this a calm way to start our Friday assembly.

During ‘Look, Listen and Speak’ pupils listened attentively to Jason as he spoke about his work with neighbouring Focus School. Jason is a bit of a computer whizz kid and has been sharing his computing skills and knowledge –well done Jason!

Following on from last week where Danny shared a drawing of Thomas the Tank Engine, this week he entertained fellow classmates with a Thomas the Tank Engine video on an ipad – great work Danny!

Sadly one of our pupils is moving on to pastures new now he has reached adulthood and so we danced and sang to one of his favourite songs by Shakira.  Jamie also spoke about how he had known his friend for 8 years.

• Jason for supporting Focus School
• David for being a successful learner and enjoying a woodwork session
• Sam for engaging in learning tasks
• Erin and April for engaging with painting in class
