Autism Toolbox

The Autism Toolbox is an online resource for Scottish schools to help support the inclusion of autistic children and young people in mainstream education.

The Toolbox is funded by the Scottish Government and has been developed in partnership with Scottish Autism and with support from Autism Network Scotland.

The resource aims to support the inclusion of autistic children and young people in mainstream education services in Scotland. As well as introducing and describing some of the more common challenges an autistic pupil might face, it provides real life case studies from Scottish schools and practical examples of supports that you can translate and use in your own school setting. It also signposts you to other websites you may find useful.

This online resource complements the original Autism Toolbox developed by the National Centre for Autism Studies and references the original toolbox throughout.
