Remember Remember the Month of November

November has been a significant month at the school with lots of our pupils turning one year older: Ross turned thirteen at the start of the month, Jenny and Josh both celebrated their sixteenth birthday and Jack turns fifteen this week! There have been a variety of celebrations with friends and family to mark these milestones.

There have been some important dates this month over and above pupil birthdays.  Jamie presented on the history of Bonfire night and reminded us about Remembrance Sunday and the types of things we might do to mark these dates.

Danny also shared a drawing of his Thunderbirds car which was of great interest to his classmates.

There have been some brilliant achievements over the last few weeks with star awards a-plenty!

  • Jamie did brilliantly at the dentist

  • Dermot was so friendly and welcoming to our newest pupil

  • Alfie has been supportive to his friend

  • Alexander has been following his timetable all week

  • Jack received a star award for choosing to cycle in his free time

  • April has been preparing vegetables and eating healthily

  • Jenny has been sharing time and space with classmates

Danny joined Jamie in receiving his star award.

We continue to love Daksha and April’s yoga sessions and have been learning some new positions. Even though some moves are a little challenging, yoga is a great way to unwind at the end of assembly.

Daksha and April show us how it’s done.

George does a fabulous job of helping to tidy up after yoga.
