We’ve got a brand new mascot for our assemblies – Alex the dog! Last week Alex went on an adventure around the school to meet everyone and see what all the pupils were up to. Everybody enjoyed having Alex around and we are looking forward to him coming along to our assemblies from now on.

Last week at assembly we also gave out star awards for some great achievements our pupils have made recently:

• Patrick did a great job joining in learning with his peers in his new class
• David G fully engaged with a range of activities last week
• Aidan and Alfie have both demonstrated great engagement with their learning since returning from the summer break
• April engaged very well with her learning about Binns House
• David J enjoyed his taster session at Grass Routes with his peers
