Claire Ritchie has worked with Scottish Autism for 19 years and currently manages our Chrysalis Day Opportunity. Claire initiated Scottish Autism’s Central Area Services Musical Theatre Group for individuals with autism six years ago and has supported the group to perform a variety of unique annual Musicals as well as holding winter choir sessions. Claire has a love of music. She joined a choir from a young age from which her love of music has grown. She has written a number of original songs over the past few years and enjoys playing the piano and drums. At home she has two daughters who both share her love of music. Claire’s eldest daughter was recently diagnosed with autism and music has given her the confidence and ability to express her emotions.
